Reynolds-Gregg announce 1,050 county chairs

Today, the Reynolds-Gregg team announced the support of 1,050 Iowa community leaders, in all 99 counties, to serve as county chairs for their campaign.

Governor Kim Reynolds said “As the groundwork is laid for the 2018 election, we are honored and humbled to have so much support in all 99 counties. Lt. Governor Gregg and I look forward to working with people across the state to build a better Iowa. Our vision is to create a competitive business environment, develop an innovative energy strategy, educate our children for the knowledge economy, and train Iowans for the jobs of tomorrow. These Iowans, and many more to come, share our deep commitment to making our state better for our children and grandchildren.”

Lt. Governor Gregg said “This strong outpouring of support for our vision of a better Iowa is truly humbling. Governor Reynolds and I pledge to work with all Iowans as we strive to keep our state a national leader in education, job growth, and quality of governance.”

Governor Reynolds and Lt. Governor Gregg intend to be candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor in the 2018 election. A final decision and announcement will be made in the coming months.
