Experienced staff moves into long-time GOP headquarters in Urbandale

As the summer winds down, the Reynolds-Gregg Team is gearing up with new team members and a convenient Urbandale location. The past few months saw more than 1,050 county chairs recruited in all 99 counties. In addition, U.S. Senators Ernst and Grassley, Secretary Northey, and Congressman Blum joined as state Co-Chairs.

According to Governor Kim Reynolds, there’s positive momentum building across the state for the Reynolds-Gregg team and we are excited to build out our staff to support the overall effort. “Every day, Iowans are asking us how they can become involved. They want to volunteer, make calls or just share their ideas. It’s been an amazing experience.”

The Governor added, “We’ve been working hard to build a better Iowa and people want to be a part of shaping the future. They want to make a difference. I could not be more honored or excited about having more energized Iowans join our team.”

“Recently we announced that Apple will be joining these Iowans in building the future of our state, with a major investment in a Waukee data center, bringing 550 jobs for Iowa families with them. These hundreds of good jobs in Dallas County will help us continue to ensure that Iowa remains a great place for people to live, work, and raise a family.”

“There really has been a groundswell of support in every corner of the state,” said Lt. Governor Gregg. “We really felt the enthusiasm during the Iowa State Fair as people stopped the Governor and me to voice their support.”

Effective immediately, two more experienced individuals have joined the Reynolds-Gregg Team:

Pat Garrett has been named Communications Director. Most recently, he served as a Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV). Prior to that, Garrett was Communications Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. He also previously worked for Governor Susana Martinez and the Republican Party of New Mexico. Garrett is a graduate of Marquette University.

Madi Holmes was appointed Deputy Finance Director. Previously, she served as a finance deputy to Senator Chuck Grassley during his 2016 re-election campaign. A native of Des Moines, Holmes graduated from Drake University.

Rounding out the Reynolds-Gregg Team are six Field Directors. These individuals will be supporting Iowans in all 1,681 precincts across the state.

The Reynolds-Gregg Team will join together in a long-time GOP headquarters in Urbandale. The space was previously used by the Trump-Pence campaign/RNC Victory 2016 and Branstad-Reynolds/RNC Victory 2014 staffers. It’s located at 2775 86th Street. An opening event is planned at a later date. Additionally, other campaigns will be welcomed to the space in the near future.
